Questions about pricing
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Anyone who joins the Standard waitlist above is guaranteed a free 1-week trial when it launches — you won't be charged for 7 days. Cancel anytime during the trial from your account settings and you'll pay nothing — if you don't cancel, billing starts automatically at $9.99/month once the trial ends.
Will Standard or Premium ever give me the final answer?
By default, no — the tutor guides you with Socratic hints and won't volunteer the final answer, on any plan. But every plan that includes the AI tutor also has a dedicated "Reveal answer" button for when you'd rather just see the full worked solution — that's a deliberate choice you make, not something the tutor caves into if you just ask in chat. Paid plans only remove the usage cap; they don't change any of this behavior.
What happens if I hit Standard's 200-question limit?
You'll see a clear notice in the chat once you're close, and again if you hit it — the count resets at the start of your next billing month, or you can upgrade to Premium for unlimited questions right away. We never silently cut off a session mid-conversation.
Is the Free plan really free, forever?
Yes — no credit card, no trial, no time limit. Free includes every formula & reference sheet and the full periodic table tool. It doesn't include the AI tutor; that's on Standard and Premium.
Can I cancel a paid plan anytime?
Yes — cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for (or, during Standard's trial, until the trial ends with nothing charged).
Is my payment information stored on your servers?
No. Billing for Standard and Premium will be handled by a third-party payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers. See the privacy policy for details.
